More kindness. More connection. More moments that matter.
THE KINDNESS PROJECT

Found one of The Kindness Project cards?
You found it for a reason.
The Kindness Project is a simple reminder that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Not only for the person receiving them, but for the person giving them, too.
In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, stressful, or disconnected, kindness gives us an opportunity to pause, connect, and make someone’s day a little brighter. Research suggests that acts of kindness can support our own mental well-being by helping us feel more connected, purposeful, and positive.
Now it’s your turn.
Take this card with you and look for an opportunity to pass along a little kindness. Pay for someone’s drink. Leave an encouraging note. Compliment a stranger. Check in on a friend. Let someone go ahead of you in line. Or simply remind someone that they matter.
There’s no perfect way to participate. Just find a small way to make someone’s day better and keep the kindness moving.
Give Kindness. Receive Kindness. Pass It On.
YOUR KINDNESS MISSION
Today, look for one small opportunity to make someone's day a little lighter.

Give a Genuine Compliment
Tell someone something you appreciate about them.

Check In
Send a text to someone you haven't talked to in a while and let them know you're thinking about them.

Choose Patience
Give someone a little extra grace when they need it.

Lend a Hand
Help someone without expecting anything in return.

Say Thank You
Take a moment to recognize someone whose efforts may often go unnoticed.

Be Kind to Yourself
Kindness isn't only something we give to others. Give yourself the same grace you would offer someone you love.
KINDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS
One Small Act Can Inspire Another
When you choose kindness, you may never know where that moment goes next. The person you encourage might smile at someone else. Someone who feels seen might feel a little more connected. A simple gesture can become part of a chain of kindness that continues long after the original moment.
You don't have to change the world all at once. Sometimes, changing someone's moment is enough.

a note from Mission Psychiatry
At Mission Psychiatry, we believe mental well-being is about more than managing difficult moments. It's also about finding hope, connection, meaning, and moments of joy in everyday life.
The Kindness Project is our small reminder that we all have the ability to make someone's day a little lighter. Sometimes, in doing so, we brighten our own day, too. Thank you for being part of it. Be kind. Spread kindness. Pass it on.
